Who we are

Snatched ("we", "us") operates the app at mysnatched.ai. For data protection purposes we are the data controller. Contact: xyz@mysnatched.ai

Information we collect

Stored on your device

Most of what Snatched knows about you stays in your browser's local storage and never reaches our servers: your wardrobe items and their photos, your saved looks, your profile (first name, age range, favourite colours and brands), and your styling preferences such as which suggestions you liked or skipped. Clearing your browser data removes all of it permanently.

Sent for processing

Some features require sending data to third-party AI services:

• Photos you upload — for virtual try-on and item identification, images are sent to our AI processing partners. This includes photographs of the person using the app.
• Outfit requests — the occasion you type and a list of your wardrobe item names are sent to generate suggestions.
• Product searches — the item type and occasion are used to search retailer websites.

Automatically collected

Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) retained for security and diagnostics.

Who we share with

We do not sell personal information. We share only what a feature requires, with:

• Anthropic — outfit suggestions and item identification
• Fashn.ai — virtual try-on image processing
• fal.ai — styled look generation
• Netlify — hosting
• Resend — email delivery

Each processes data on our instructions under its own terms. We do not permit them to use your data to train their models where an opt-out is available to us.

Children's privacy

Snatched is intended for users aged 7 to 16 with a parent or guardian's involvement.

• We ask for a first name and age range only — never a surname, address, school or phone number.
• We do not show behavioural advertising to any user.
• We do not offer public profiles, messaging between users, or any social feed.
• Purchases are never completed in the app. Items open on the retailer's own website where an adult completes the transaction.
• Parents can request deletion of any data associated with their child at any time.

If you believe a child has provided information we should not hold, email us and we will delete it promptly.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because most data is stored on your device, clearing your browser data exercises much of this immediately. For anything else, email xyz@mysnatched.ai.

You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Retention

On-device data persists until you clear it. Photos sent for AI processing are retained by those providers only as long as needed to return a result, according to their own retention policies. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.

International transfers

Our providers operate in the United States and elsewhere. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes, and give prominent notice in the app for significant changes.
